All I actually know about Wilberforce is that I think his first name may have been William, and that he may have been some kind of religous guy...
ReplyDeleteThe Wilberforce thing might have been appropriate a couple of years ago when the movie came out if they linked it to that.
ReplyDeleteRizzle for the Sizzle? That's not crummy, that is AWESOME!
ReplyDelete#3" That church sign is a fizzle.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year buddy, and may the spirit of Jesus continue to provide inspiration for hilariously poor church signs!
ReplyDeleteWilberforce led the charge to make slavery illegal in Great Britain.

There was a fairly good movie about it recently starring that guy from Fantastic Four (actually he was better in the Hornblower series but that's a whole bunch more "no one knows about")
Wait, is he the guy from "Amazing Grace?"
ReplyDeleteYes, the subject of Amazing Grace (the movie)
ReplyDeleteSanta didn't die for sins YET.

Santa will dionrot, Jesus lives forever!
Hey all,
ReplyDeleteJust finished reading "The Shack" - premise is that a guy whose daughter was murdered gets a note from God inviting him to meet at the shack where she was killed. Sounds kinda weird, I know, but I loved the book, which is to say I cried through it. Your mileage may vary, but I definitely recommend checking it out!
Your responses to these aren't good. What they mean are obviously not meant to be made fun of. What is your attitude in making fun of them? I'm not bookmarking this site.
ReplyDeleteGabrielle:
ReplyDelete1. No, they're not good.
2. Most things that are easy to make fun of weren't meant to be made fun of.
3. I would describe my attitude as a "bad" one.
4. It's probably better that way.
Yes, your attitude is bad. I'm bookmarking this site.
