Um, yeah… That’s what Hebrews 11 is all about: the pleasant lives of those who live by faith.

"Be a firefighter. Put out slander."

"Put out" as in "distribute; emit; produce"?

Have you bought my book yet? The special prices last until next Tuesday (Nov. 6). Only $10.99 with free shipping!

I will be placing my order for books this week based on the number of sales I have so far (plus estimating a few extras for those of you waiting until the last minute)...it should take about a week to get them in, then I will sign them and send them out. If you have ordered yours, you should expect it by mid-November, in plenty of time for the holiday season.

Thanks for all the orders so far!! Once the special pricing is over next week, I'll give everyone an update on sales and how much loot we all raised for Compassion.

  1. "Rake of Fire"! ~Snort!~
I kinda like the autumn leaves on the sign, though. Nice seasonal touch!

God is not warm and fuzzy, and neither are many of his people.
Or, contrariwise, Alice: God is not warm and fuzzy, though many of his people are.
What if you're coming from the other direction? "And Fuzzy, God is not warm..."

verification: mcipjm. I think I scored that on a personality test once.

And firefighters put out slander now? Well, I should probably go tell dad that. He's a little confused. Always going on about saving lives and protecting property.

  5. In the warm fuzzy story that would make God a cold prickly. Hmm, I can't wait to see that on their church sign.

  6. My fall begins when I leaf God? Huh? I'm supposed to leaf God? Does that church mean "leaf" to be a ... OH, I get it now. Ha! OK. I fall if I leaf. Got it.

Took me a while. Wow. What a pathetic sign.

  7. I wonder how Slander feels with the fact that she puts out being so publicized...... and the fact that she only likes guys in fancy dress.

  8. You gotta love the fire and brimstone church messages you'll find only in low lying swampy regions of the country.

  9. Diesel that was good!

Hey Joel, This is Shauna, the one who has only contributed once! LOL. The churches in my area have kind of simmered down! Pretty funny, they have only been announcing their activities! Hopefully it will pick up again soon!

  10. If you were seeing the sign that says "AND FUZZY" on just that side....

I'd say the pastor's hit the sauce again, that's all.
