This sign is straight from the Bible. But context is so important.
Ryan thinks this sign is true because the sign they had up last week was so successful:
"A generous man will prosper" Proverbs 11:25.

Phew...I was getting worried there for a minute.

"God Provides A Meal. Friday 6 PM"
submitted AND reviewed by new contributor Tara
This sign was up for a month or so, but as Tara says, "Alas, I must report, the sign was changed this past week, to which I can only conclude that either a.) God got tired of having to do all the dishes afterwards, or b.) No one fancied His cooking."

Keep 'em coming.
I guess I should read the headline before I comment. Oy.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the pets are prayed over before they eat them.
ReplyDeleteIguanas welcome!
ReplyDeleteHoward: It's OK, it wasn't my joke anyhow.
ReplyDeleteMr. D: Tastes like pet chicken.
That's too funny! I just ran across your blog today, and you have some good stuff. How do you get them all?
ReplyDeleteteeth whitening
Anonymous: People send them to me, hence the "Submitted by" tag on every last church sign.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you saying about my teeth?
I am not sure criticizing church signs is right?!?!?

Great blog! I thought I was the only one who would read the crazy church signs and walk away shaking my head. Next time I see one I'll send it in.
ReplyDeleteI positively love this blog, and I love it extra special for this reason:
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get updated like 5 times a day, so I can keep up on it without it becoming a chore.
I only mention it to say "keep up the awesome job".
There have been funny blogs I end up unsubscribing to because they start to feel like work! Crummy Church Signs is perfect :-)
InHim: Yeah...me either.
ReplyDeleteVDHA: Thanks! I look forward to your submission.
M-K: Thanks...I'll try to keep it more like fun and less like work.
